You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, leveraging your design skills to create beautiful and functional web applications that align with our brand identity.

How will you create impact?

As a Technical Lead - Front End at DealMaker, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our online capital raising platform. You'll be a key contributor, leveraging both your strong frontend development skills and your keen design sense to create intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional web applications that drive user engagement and conversions.

Craftsman of Code & Design: You will be a master of both frontend development and design, seamlessly blending technical proficiency with an eye for visual aesthetics. You'll independently implement design solutions, ensuring that the user interface aligns with our established design system and resonates with our brand identity.

Building for Impact: You will take ownership of crafting the frontend architecture, implementing user interfaces, and ensuring that every element delivers a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Elevating User Experience: You'll leverage your understanding of user experience principles and design best practices to build interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also incredibly user-friendly. You'll focus on creating intuitive workflows and interactions that make complex processes effortless for our users.

A Collaborative Partner: You will work closely with our design team to understand their vision and provide valuable technical input to ensure the feasibility and optimal implementation of their designs. You'll also collaborate with other engineers to ensure consistency and alignment with the design system across the platform.

Driving Technical Innovation: You will be a champion for adopting new frontend technologies and frameworks that enhance performance, improve user experience, and keep our platform at the forefront of innovation.

Design & Develop: You'll independently design and implement user interfaces, working within the established design system guidelines and ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience.

Collaborate with Designers: You'll work closely with the design team to understand their vision and provide technical feedback to ensure the feasibility and optimal implementation of their designs.

Build for Scalability & Performance: You'll craft robust and efficient code that scales well and delivers a smooth user experience, optimizing for performance and accessibility.

Champion Best Practices: You'll actively contribute to maintaining high coding standards, ensuring code maintainability, testability, and adherence to best practices.

Stay Ahead of the Curve: You will continuously research and learn about emerging frontend technologies and best practices to improve the user experience and maintain a high level of technical excellence.

Work Across Teams: You will collaborate effectively with product managers, marketing teams, and other engineers to ensure alignment and a seamless integration of your work within the broader product roadmap.

What you should have?

-Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating web development expertise.

-At least three years of proficiency using the Svelte framework or five years of experience with other large front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.

-Deep understanding of e-commerce systems, including familiarity with common terminology and conversion optimization strategies.

-Experience using databases such as MySQL or PostgresKnowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).

-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

-Strong understanding of the A/B testing process and tools
