Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add Technical Lead – Structural Simulation located in Coimbatore.

What a Typical day looks like:

• Perform finite element analysis ranging from linear static analysis to complex non-linear simple and also thermal, FSI, Composites, contact & optimization (Parametric and Non-Parametric) related problems
• Experienced in Linear static, modal, harmonic, random, transient, implicit, and explicit drop.
• Capable of working in almost all aspects of 1D/2D/3D CAD modeling including mechanical components and Structural analysis
• Experience in Solver debugging and convergence issues.
• Knowledge of Elastic-plastic assessments, Low cycle fatigue and High cycle fatigue calculations.
• Sound knowledge on Strength of Materials and fracture mechanics.
• Understanding the customer requirements for performing FEA and its calculations.
• Correlate the Software solution with physical measurements and suggesting cost-effective measurements Solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in problem resolution, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Sound knowledge on Relevant standards and follow best practices for accurate computational efficiency.
• Mentoring the team and providing technical presentation to the internal/ external stakeholders of the projects
• Conducting research on new technologies & techniques and perform design reviews and recommend improvements.
• Communicating with engineers to discuss design details or implementation of models and ensure that product design and performance meets technical and functional requirements.
• Knowledge on Thermal simulation using CFD, and Moldflow simulation added advantage.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical/ Automotive/ Aerospace/ Mechanical & master’s degree Added Advantage
• 4 to 6 Years of experience
• Hands on Experience in CAD -Siemens NX/ Solidworks / Cre-O.
• CAE : ANSYS /ABAQUS
