Job Summary

Bugcrowd is looking for a motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager with great organisation and communication skills to help coordinate and manage pentesting engagements for customer accounts. Candidates will possess strong organizational capabilities, pentesting experience or significant exposure, keen interpersonal skills, a mind for detail and process, a proven ability to thrive under pressure, and a passion for information security.

The Advanced Security Group (ASG) is responsible for offensive security operations within the business and on customer accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the interface between pentesters and customers.
• Manage, schedule, monitor progress, and assist in the scoping of pentests.
• Accurately identify the right matching of resources to tests - taking care to balance personalities, capabilities, and schedules.
• Act as a path of escalation for both testers and customers.
• Ensure the timely execution, delivery, and quality of tests.
• Track and report on testing teams time usage.
• Monitor and report to stakeholders on key metrics for delivery’s success.
• Work with other technical teams to provide intercompany support by leveraging ASG testers.
• Carefully maintain documentation and tickets for engagements with a mind for auditing.
• Provide feedback and assist in improving division process and methodologies.
• Support testers on jobs where pentesting knowledge and execution must be translated to customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Any form of project management education preferred.
• 2 years professional cybersecurity experience.
• Exceptional customer-facing communication skills.
• Can communicate at all levels across the business.
• Demonstrates capability of scoping for all types of engagements.
• Can drive effective meetings and demonstrates ability to capture and execute on key action items.
• Effectively communicates and advocates for Security Consultants to management.
• Measures efficiency through data and can quantify results.
• Can plan workload weeks in advance and proactively adjusts to managing shifting priorities for clients and team.
• Capable of leading small teams.
• Understands core pentesting techniques and attacks and can explain them simply to stakeholders.
• Exceptional time management and ability to maintain a flexible schedule of resources.
• Can identify testing quality and implement adjustments where needed to correct the course.
