Job Summary:
As part of Cat Digital's Technical Product Management team you will be a part of creating the next generation of digital solutions to enable enterprise growth in aftermarket parts and services. Primary responsibilities include developing product requirements, technical solutions, and engineering roadmaps with an emphasis on maximizing solution re-use, customer value and enterprise value.
What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Data and Analytics Architects & Platform Architects to define and progressively elaborate functional and non-functional requirements and solutions for implementation by development teams.
  • Manage product backlog, priorities, and stakeholder communications.
  • Decision-maker for feature priority, acceptance criteria, and target releases.
  • Create and manage project life-cycle cost estimates/tracking and communicate and manage business requestor expectations.


What You Will Have:

  • Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.


Consideration For Top Candidates:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a product owner or product manager in the software space
  • Experience leading programs from product ideation to production delivery.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communications and negotiation skills.
  • Nice to Have
    • Cat domain knowledge
    • AWS and IoT domain knowledge
    • Data analytics and commercializing APIs
