About Us
Though we operate like a startup—agile, focused, and product-driven—our roots run deep. Backed by over 40 years of industry experience in health and safety as the Tang + Company family of companies (CareOnSite, ASAPcheck, OSCA), Spotalign brings together trusted expertise with modern technology to build smart, scalable solutions that serve Plant Owners, contractors, and workforces across the country.
We've developed digital tools that are reshaping how compliance, worker onboarding, turnaround support, and secure site access are managed. Our technology enhances safety and efficiency all stakeholders, making critical processes faster and more integrated.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership
• Drive end-to-end planning and execution of internal technical programs—scoping, prioritizing, scheduling, and delivering software projects that support the company's strategic goals.
• Define clear milestones, success metrics, and delivery plans across multi-phase initiatives.
2. Technical Insight
• Leverage your technical expertise to actively participate in architecture discussions, identify potential trade-offs, and help teams navigate complexity.
• Understand how backend systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and internal platforms fit into the bigger picture.
3. Startup-Scale Execution
• Work across lean, high-impact teams to prioritize and unblock issues quickly, and drive toward rapid, iterative delivery.
• Propose process improvements and automation to increase speed to delivery and reduce friction.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Be the glue between engineering, product, ops, and leadership—facilitating decision-making, trade-off discussions, and feedback loops.
• Act as a central point of coordination, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
5. Agile & Adaptive Management
•
Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives—adapting as needed for startup pace and culture.
6. Risk & Issue Management
•
Proactively identify dependencies, blockers, and risks—and develop mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
7. Transparent Communication
•
Create clear, concise updates and dashboards to communicate progress, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including founders and investors.
8. Process & Quality Focus
• Champion a culture of high-quality delivery, including testing standards, release practices, documentation, and post-mortems.
• Ensure internal tools are secure, scalable, and designed with future growth in mind.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in program/project management in technical environments; startup or internal tool development experience highly valued.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software engineering principles, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), APIs, and internal tooling. You don’t need to code daily, but you should be able to read and reason about it.
• Toolset: Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Linear, Asana, Confluence, GitHub Projects, or similar.
• Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are helpful but not mandatory..
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A bias for action and ownership.
• Ability to balance detail with the big picture.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, often ambiguous environments.
Why Join Us?
• You'll have direct impact on how we build and scale our own systems.
• You'll work alongside product-minded engineers and cross-functional leaders who value speed, transparency, and pragmatic execution.
• You'll help define the internal tech foundation of a startup at a formative stage.
