Position Overview
Leads the planning and execution of enterprise-wide technical projects, encompassing software development, infrastructure modernization, and cybersecurity initiatives. Manages complex, large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. Develops comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Identifies, manages, and mitigates project risks, serving as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential Job Functions
• Leads, plans, and executes enterprise-wide technical projects spanning IT disciplines such as software development, infrastructure modernization, and cybersecurity.
• Manages complex, large-scale initiatives that impact multiple departments, systems, and stakeholders across the organization.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT capabilities.
• Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans and documentation, including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, risk assessments, charters, roadmaps, and status reports, while monitoring progress, tracking deliverables, and reporting key metrics to leadership
• Leads clear and consistent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders by facilitating project meetings (e.g., kick-offs, status updates, retrospectives), while fostering engagement, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifies, manages, and mitigates project risks and issues, providing strategic resolutions to keep initiatives on track.
• Advocates for technical alignment by ensuring that infrastructure, security, and system architecture considerations are properly captured and integrated during project planning and execution phases.
• Serves as the primary liaison between technical teams (IT, Software, Data, Security) and business stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of project scope and requirements.
• Translates technical requirements and challenges into clear, concise documentation and presentations for non-technical stakeholders when suitable.
• Performs other duties or special projects, as assigned.

• Engages in professional development activities such as attending industry events, webinars, and project management related training to remain current on emerging trends, methodologies, and best practices.
• Collaborates with IT leadership and stakeholders to support the development and refinement of the organization’s long-term technology roadmap, providing project-level insights that inform strategic planning.
Promotes project management excellence by sharing best practices, tools, and insights that align with the organization’s mission, goals, and delivery frameworks.

Experience / Education Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, OR equivalent practical experience and certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical IT projects, including at least 3 years in software, cybersecurity and/or infrastructure domains.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification required.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT domains including networking, cybersecurity, cloud, software, and data systems. Relevant certifications are a strong plus, but not required.
• Hands-on familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments involving developers, network administrators, cybersecurity teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate across diverse audiences and translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strong technical acumen with foundational understanding of network diagrams, software architecture, and security frameworks.
• Ability to manage full project lifecycles including planning, execution, and coordination across various methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and proactive problem-solving.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Strong diagnostic and solution-oriented thinking for technical and process challenges.
