Technical Project Manager - Reciprocating Compressors

#YouMakeADifferenceYour Mission As aTechnical Project Managerat HOERBIGER Service Inc., you’ll lead and drive complex upgrade and overhaul projects for industrial reciprocating compressors. Your mission is to ensure successful execution from scope development to final delivery—balancing customer needs with internal performance goals. You’ll work closely with engineering, sales, and operations teams to provide high-value solutions to clients across energy and gas industries.How you will make a difference • Take full ownership of projects from scope, costing, and justification to execution and delivery. • Collaborate across departments and with customers to define and implement complex service solutions. • Support the sales team in late-stage customer negotiations by providing technical insights and recommendations. • Ensure high-quality project execution that meets safety, cost, and schedule objectives. • Build trust-based relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and success.What you should be good at • Hands-on experience with reciprocating compressor systems, components, and repair standards. • Industry knowledge in upstream, midstream, and downstream energy sectors. • Project management tools proficiency (Microsoft Project preferred) and ERP systems (SAP preferred). • Strong communication skills—ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly to all audiences. • Team collaboration—you build morale, encourage feedback, and put team success ahead of personal recognition.What you can look forward to HOERBIGER offers a dynamic, continually changing work environment with opportunity for advancement.
