TransUnion (TU) is a leading provider of data driven information solutions. We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Public Sector team. The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) will work closely with the Public Sector sales team and will lead the technical & functional aspects of opportunities. The TSE will be involved in early phases of the sales cycle, will coordinate activities across product specialists and on opportunities requiring integration and customization the TSE's responsibilities will extend all the way through coordinating deliveries. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be part of the strategic vision and subsequent advancement opportunities in this high growth vertical. What You'll Bring:
- Professional, self-motivated, creative thinker who can work both independently and as a team member
- Technical and data-centric mindset for solving complex problems
- Experience working closely with Sales Executives, Operations Teams and Technology Partners to creatively solve customer problems
- Excellent client facing manner and presentation skills
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically (post pandemic)
We'd Love to See:
- 5+ years in a pre-sales/Solution Architect role supporting the sale of data, software or services
- Experience supporting Federal and State governments
- Experience evaluating RFP technical requirements and gap analysis supporting the bid/no-bid decision process.
- Experience working with React
- Experience with some/all: .Net, SQL, Web Services, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, Snowflake, SQLServer, C#, Tableau

- Build additional functionality, integrations and add-on products to existing solutions leveraging TransUnion's APIs
