In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Good understanding and hands on experience on Micro Segmentation solutions in Guardicore
- Understanding of complex network designs and zero trust concept network.
- Should be able to analyze the traffic and suggest best practices for micro segmenting the environment.
- Implementation and Management of complex micro segmented environment which includes solutions evolution and troubleshooting.
- Must have knowledge on complex application architectures deployed on data centers.
- Understanding of different server types and their required communication protocols and ports.
- Understanding and experience in the use of virtualization solutions VMware Hypervisor container.
- Traffic packet & protocol understanding
- supporting Guardicore Micro-segmentation zero trust
- Guardicore Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Guardicore Centra and Guardicore Agent enabling granular network control and visibility for enhanced security.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient in resolving complex micro-segmentation issues and analyzing security policies and access controls.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with Guardicore? s development teams to escalate and resolve critical issues.
- Incident Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize customer incidents for timely resolution.
- Hands-on experience with Guardicore Centra (now Akamai Guardicore Segmentation).
- Good understanding of micro-segmentation zero trust and east-west traffic security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP DNS HTTP/S SMB RDP etc.).
- Familiarity with firewalls HIPS/HIDS and EDR solutions.
- Experience in security policy design and application dependency mapping
