Technical Support Representative (Hungary)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing relationships with current Valeo brand ambassadors and partners.
• Providing technical support for workshops and distributor points of sale.
• Conducting technical trainings and product range presentations for workshops and distributors.
• Presenting the workshop support platform (Tech Assist) at official meetings, customer events, etc.
• Informing customers about new products, campaigns, and discounts.
• Collaborating with the Sales & Marketing department to inform customers about current marketing and sales activities, and monitoring them.
• Developing, organizing, and participating in local customer events, trade fairs, and meetings.
• Identifying new customers – workshops and Points of Sale (POS).
• Visiting customers regularly on a weekly/monthly basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in automotive mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Technical background: technical training/apprenticeship, technician or engineer in automotive engineering or a similar field.
• Language skills: fluent in Hungarian; strong English skills required.
• Knowledge/experience in the independent aftermarket.
• Technical knowledge/experience in car construction and with the company’s product portfolio.
• High customer orientation, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel (minimum 60%; company car provided).
• Excellent organizational skills, with a structured and independent working style.
