Technical Team Leader – IBM Logo Servers

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Technical Team Leader – IBM Logo Servers you are expected to work on all type of pSeries and Power 4 5 5+ P6 P7 P8 and P9 Series Server or any RISC based Servers You will need to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Must have at least 1 year of enterprise account infrastructure support and team leader skills (at least 5 – 10 member team size)
• Maintaining all type of pSeries and Power 4 5 5+ P6 P7 P8 and P9 Series Server or any RISC based Servers
• Basic Power Server hardware troubleshooting knowledge or any RISC Server hardware troubleshooting knowledge
• Configuration of LPAR/Partitioning through HMC & HMC Backup Upgrading FSP and HMC Version.
• Knowledge on installation configuration troubleshooting on AIX (V4.x 5.x 6.1 7.x) PowerVM PowerHA(5.x 6.x 7.x) Linux(Redhat SUSE) any other flavour of Unix

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Must be having overall 12-15 years overall IT experience with 3-5 years of serverhardware support experience
• Install configure and maintain IBM server hardware and related components.
• Ensure proper integration of servers into the existing network infrastructure
• Monitor server performance and proactively identify and address issues.
• Optimize server configurations for optimal performance and resource utilization
• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard IBM servers and associated data.
• Regularly update and patch server systems to address vulnerabilities.
• Respond to server-related incidents and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams such as network administrators database administrators and security specialists to ensure seamless operation of the overall IT infrastructure.
• Flexible to work in 24×7 Shifts.
