Technology Lead - AWS & Python

Infosys is seeking a AWS Lead Developer position with Data Engineering background. In this role, you will provide technical guidance to teams; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Python Devleoper with at least 8 years of experience and atleast 3 years of experience in the below technologies:
  • Cloud Technologies: AWS Lambda, Microservices/API, AWS, S3, IAM, , EFS, ECS, EC2, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, AWS APIs, AWS CLI, Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, AWS lambda, Cloud-watch, CloudFormation, Serverless Scripting.
• Efficient in Scripting language such as shell script, python
• Good experience in end-to-end implementation of AWS Development projects, especially Lambda Services(Python coding), Serverless, Payloads.
• Able to manage end-to-end operations of ETL data pipelines in Matillion using AWS Cloud Services.
• Good understanding of JSON,XML, Data Structures.
• Platforms and Services : AWS
• Langugaes: Python, Javascript, SQL
• Databases: Snowflake, PostgresSQL, MySQL, Oracle 11g, SQL Server
• API and Frameworks: API, REST web services

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
