Telecom Engineer

Open 7-month Contract Telecom Engineer Position (Possibility for Extension)
Pay: Up to $55/hr.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• This role will be on an initial 7 month contract with a possibility for extension
• The onboard process may require the contractor to spend 1 half day in the corporate office

• The interview process for this will be a 1 hour (max) zoom session
• The team will expect an audio and visual call
• Please make sure your candidates are prepared and have the capabilities
• Depending on the team, practical exercises could be part of the interview

• Assistance with implementation / evaluation of Cloud Telephony products
• Assistance with the decommissioning of an owned Data Center, which would include a TDM to SIP conversion
• Assistance with the rolling out of a new telephony solution for remote field locations (500+ sites)

• 5+yrs experience in Corporate / Contact Center telephony
• 5+ years experience in supporting Avaya CM in a large Contact Center/Corporate environment
• Hands on experience with migrating from on premise Avaya to Cloud platforms such as Nice/InContact, 8x8, Talk Desk
• MPLS/TDM/SIP
