Temp Claims Data Analyst

Temp Claims Data Analyst Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a DTLA law firm to find an experienced Temp Claims Data Analyst. This position involves supporting a busy insurance coverage practice by managing and analyzing claims-related data for both domestic and international insurer clients. The role requires a high level of proficiency in Excel, as well as excellent analytical and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial and claims-tracking functions.Responsibilities: • Create, update, and maintain detailed spreadsheets to track the status of claims, policy information, self-insured retention/deductible satisfaction, invoice submissions and payments, and policy erosion. • Implement and maintain client-specific claims and spending-tracking spreadsheets. • Compile and analyze monthly reports, including new suits and incidents, reserve changes, cost-of-repair assessments, and erosion of limits. • Support attorneys in preparing client reports and financial summaries. • Develop and maintain advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, and reporting tools to support accurate data analysis.Qualifications: • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including xlookup, pivot tables, complex formulas, and data reporting). • Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines. • Accounting background or knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred. • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Details: • Start Date:ASAP • Hours:7-hour day (flexible start time) • Duration:Through mid-November, with potential for extension • Pay Rate Range:$20-$25/hour (higher rates considered for strong candidates)Top Three Priorities: • Advanced Excel skills • Exceptional attention to detail • High degree of accuracy All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
