Temporary Mens' Locker Floor Porter

Description Men's Locker Floor Porter is responsible for maintaining clean and hygienic facilities within the club's Men's Locker Floor. The ideal candidate must be able to clean various areas such as lockers, showers, steam and sauna rooms, and restroom facilities. These duties will include the use of brooms, push brooms, mop and ringer bucket, vacuuming, shampoo machines, use of high speed buffing floor machines, floor stripping machines, leaf blowers. Additionally, Men's Locker Floor Porter is responsible for wiping down surfaces and disinfecting surfaces by using cleaning solutions and chemicals including but not limited to including bleach, carpet stain remover, floor stripper, brass cleaner, disinfectant spray, floor cleaning solution. Requirements • Men's Locker Floor Porter is responsible for maintaining clean and hygienic facilities within the club's Men's Locker Floor. Additionally, Men's Locker Floor Porter is responsible for wiping down surfaces and disinfecting surfaces by using cleaning solutions and chemicals including but not limited to including bleach, carpet stain remover, floor stripper, brass cleaner, disinfectant spray, floor cleaning solution. Athletic Porter is also expected to participate in set up and break down of special athletic and banquet events. • Candidate must be able to stand and walk for long hours during a 7 hour shift. • Candidate must be to lift at least 50 lbs. • Maintain cleanliness of all Men's Locker Floor facilities including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, wiping surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, organizing, sanitizing Must arrange all equipment storage areas neatly, inventoried and organized at all times. Inspects the Men's Locker Floor continuously throughout each shift to ensure that all requirements reflected on the daily task lists are met. Ensures a 'Member Ready' appearance at all times. Supports a strong commitment to providing excellent service and working as a team. Regularly inventory and maintain all related equipment. Continuously strive for complete members/guests’ satisfaction – including cooperating with last minute changes/additions. Follow diagrams and event orders. Maintain cleanliness of all Men's Locker Floor spaces. Schedule:Thursday-Friday 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM; Saturday-Sunday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Shift availability: • Day Shift (Preferred) • Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • New York, NY 10019 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • New York, NY 10019: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
