Tendering Application Engineer

Mission

The Cooling Tendering Application Engineer will support Front Office and partners with pre-sales activities during all the pre-design phase. Our main purpose is to provide customized products quotations, technical information, customized spare part quotations with the objective of continuous improvement and maximizing customer's satisfaction. The Tendering Application Engineer will lead the quotation in all its aspects with a constant relationship with Schneider Electric entities worldwide.

What will you do?

• Sales support:
  • Support Front Office Tendering for customized products
  • Analysis of technical requirements
  • Feedback to production plants regarding tendering high runners
  • Customized units technical selection and performance datasheets generation
• Customized quotations:

• Quotation of Chiller, CRAC, CRAH, fan wall and liquid cooling
• Quotation of retrofit kit
• Shipment quotation
• Customized spare parts quotation
• Lead time definition
• Link between tendering and execution on customized products scope
• Handover meetings at order arrival
• Cooperation on a daily basis with Solution Architect team and R&D

FAT and customer visit :

• Support to BDMs for Tools Sales Training & Customer visits when required
• Define offer and scheduling for FAT at the tendering stage together with FAT leader

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Bachelor o Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Energy or Electronic engineering
• Two (2) years of experience on cooling matters with focus on DataCenter applications
• Communication and relationship capabilities with particular focus to cross cultural relationships worldwide.
• Awareness about the Datacenter market and competition
• Knowledge about cooling products, i.e. inRoom - inRow - Chillers
• Team oriented approach
• Fluent English knowledge
