Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with excellent knowledge of JavaScript and Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. This role involves working closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and create effective test plans.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright
• Identify test requirements and create effective test plans
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure software quality
• Maintain and enhance the test automation framework
• Analyze test results and report defects
• Ensure test coverage and traceability
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
• Professional experience with Playwright for test automation
• Experience with developing and maintaining test automation frameworks 
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Experience with contract testing (PactFlow)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
• Relevant certifications in software testing or test automatio
