CGI is seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead (Hybrid role) to join our team!

Looking for someone who appreciates working in a fast-paced collaborative environment and who would enjoy being part of a growing team implementing critically important solutions for Government clients.

You will be leading the effort for the assessment of testing requirements and will be proposing strategy for the test automation for our clients.

Will support teams to implement agreed solution, write and execute scripts as well as provide reports on the testing automation outcomes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will collaborate with the client on technology and business process related efforts that include assessment of testing needs, planning and implementation of test automation, knowledge transfer and end user support.

Lead all aspects of automated testing efforts, acts as a consultant to bids, projects, services and/or clients to advise on testing strategies, test tools or test methodologies.

Core Responsibilities:• Identify and document customer testing objectives and their business needs
• Define and implement a road map for testing automation
• Cooperate with functional teams to understand and address client specific testing complexities
• Define a road map for ancillary testing to accomplish comprehensive end-to-end quality assurance
• Build, execute and debug the test scenarios with data
• Provide reports on the test automation outcomes
• Lead test automation lifecycle

Additional responsibilities:• Run client and team meetings
• Author and review test documents and other work
• Align with project documentation standards
• Understand work plan activities, and deliver accurate status on work completion
• Identify and communicate issues in a timely manner

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 3+ years in quality assurance, test strategy, test planning, test execution
• 3+ years of management consulting, advisory or professional services consulting experience
• 3+ years of test automation experience
• Experience with ERP system testing - Preferred
• Familiar with test automation tools, enterprise (e.g. Tricentis TOSCA, Micro Focus UFT) and open source (e.g. Robot Frameworks, Selenium) testing tools
• Knowledge of the delivery life cycle and standard methodology in test automation
• Detailed solid understanding of developing, maintaining, and performing test strategies/plans/cases
• Experience in analyzing and decomposing requirements and crafting testing strategy/plan as well as testing estimates and work plan
• Experience detailing test plans, test cases, tracking defects, reporting status to various levels of the project organization

Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience for 2-5 years

Additional skills:• Ability to evaluate different tools against defined criteria to develop the right solution based on that specific challenge
• Software development skills, e.g. JAVA, C# and understanding of software development standard methodologies
• Ability to prioritize optimally, multitask, and manage time appropriately
• Ability to build and maintain client relationship
• Good interpersonal skills and clear communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Phenomenal attention to detail and follow through
• Effective writing skills to communicate to customers and internal team members

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills

Certifications:• Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer• Advanced level Security Tester• Certified SAFe® DevOps Practitioner• Certified SAFe® Practitioner• Agile Testing e.g.:• Foundation Level Agile Tester• Agile Software Engineering• Advanced Level Agile Technical Tester

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $59,000-$90,000*
