Overview:
The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful professional hands-on experience to students with leadership potential and proven academic performance. Werfen hires students majoring in Engineering and Life Sciences fields into this internship program based on business need. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
Position Description
- Participate in product design, development, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery of portions of system, major subsystems, or tools.
- Create end-to-end computing solutions for edge and cloud environments using industry standard software engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Digital Solution Team and participate in daily stand ups and meetings.
- Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.
- Assist test automation development by converting functional requirements into Gherkin tests
- Improve test coverage, reviewing and filling gaps in existing automation.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
- Currently pursuing B.S. in Engineering, computer science with a minimum of 4 college semesters complete.
- Tools:Apache JMeter, Apache Groovy, Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, Selenium Web Driver
Skills:RESTful API, Performance testing, Load/Stress testing
