Testing Engineer- Power Transformer

Mission Statement:

An Electrical Engineer with good hands-on experience with various Transformer testing and maintenance of HV instrument. With the mindset to involve in failure analysis, troubleshooting and faultfinding during breakdown phase. Engineer with new idea in terms of Continual Improvement, Time management and Safety. Fluent knowledge of IS, IEC, NEMA, CEA, as well as ISO.

Your Responsibilities:

• Experience in planning and execution of Testing work as an electrical engineer with transformers.
• Knowledge of industry standards - IS, IEEE, IEC, NEMA, ISO.
• Experience in NABL Requirements for Testing laboratories.
• Knowledge of transformer ancillary devices functions and operations.
• Knowledge of LTC operation and maintenance procedures.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and SAP.
• Knowledge in Trouble shooting of HV equipment and its maintenance.
• Experience in Handling customers and solving technical queries.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

Your Background

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience of Testing of Power, Reactors, Dry and Traction transformers.
• Hands on testing Reactors, Power, Traction, & Dry Transformers.
• Transformer Oil Testing experience is an advantage.
• Must have fluent knowledge of related standards & ready to work all three shifts.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
