We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering Advisor to join our team in PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

Day to Day job Duties:

• Work directly with Development and Business Analysts team along with business customer and testing team members to understand business use cases, design and execute tests for them.
• Work with business and development teams to understand application workflows and plan for the testing of such workflows by defining appropriate test cases.
• Critically analyze business requirements, question, and resolve ambiguous requirements with business owners and ensure a clear understanding between QA and Development teams.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and seek out answers to QA questions.
• Familiarity with QA and Testing lifecycle tools such as HP UFT, ALM or Quality Center, and or its equivalent.

• Familiarity with automation framework and development skill to maintainenhance existing automation framework
• Ability to successfully triage defects to resolution with metrics and document remediation steps for future reference.
• Familiarity with different development methodologies - Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall, etc.
• Excellent written and communication skills with affinity for client support.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Testing practice with End-to End Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), requirement analysis with proven experience in design, development, testing, and maintenance.
• Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent work experience

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall environments
• prepare Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimations, Test Document, Manual and automated Testing processes and have good knowledge of STLC
• Knowledge of Healthcare & Life Sciences - Member, Provider, Benefits, Premiums, Claims, Clinical Data.

• Experience of working with offshore counterpart leading through detail level of coordination for QA deliveries.
• Expertise on Salesforce Applications, Legacy application testing, Webservices, Web Applications etc.
• Knowledge on Database SQL queries to review and update test data and good understanding of Database relationship model.
• Enhancemaintain automation scripts for existing automation framework based on project need
• Experience in HPQC ALM, Azure Test Plan and other testing tools

Travel: This position is open for remote US locations. Preferred location is East coast or Midwest.
