Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to various situations, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Responsibilities • Monitor designated areas to prevent and detect signs of over intoxication, disturbances to the show, or potential threats in a fast paced environment. • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises. • Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. • Provide assistance during conflicts, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with legal standards. • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities. Requirements • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. • Must have possesion of an active California Guard Card. • Must obtain California Responsible Beverage Beverage Service certification within the first 30 days of employment. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent communication skills with guests and managers. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
