We are currently seeking a Thread Roll Operator to join our team in Arizona. Job Summary:
The Thread Roll Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining thread rolling machines to produce fasteners with precision threads. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with thread rolling, an understanding of fastener production, and the ability to operate machinery to meet production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Machine Setup & Operation:
• Set up and operate thread rolling machines to form threads on fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
• Adjust machine settings, including roll pressure and speed, to meet production specifications and achieve the desired thread quality.
• Select and install the appropriate dies, tools, and fixtures for each job based on the product specifications.
• Production & Efficiency:
• Monitor the production process to ensure that machines are operating efficiently and producing fasteners that meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular checks and adjustments to ensure consistency in thread quality and uniformity across production runs.
• Optimize machine settings and tooling to improve cycle times and reduce material waste.
• Quality Control & Inspection:
• Inspect fasteners after the thread rolling process to ensure they meet dimensional and visual quality standards.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges to verify thread quality and accuracy.
• Address and report any quality issues to the Production Manager and take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
• Perform routine maintenance on thread rolling machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform repairs or coordinate with maintenance teams as needed.
• Ensure that machines are kept in safe working condition, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production runs, and inspection results.
• Report production progress and any machine issues to the Production Manager.
• Follow standard operating procedures for all tasks and maintain records in compliance with quality management systems.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all regulatory and industry standards for quality and safety.
• Participate in safety training and ensure that machines and workstations meet safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical certification in manufacturing or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience as a Thread Roll Operator.
• Experience with thread rolling machines and a strong understanding of the thread rolling process.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.50 per hour
