Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace TIG Welder with a proven track record of working with high precision on materials such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of welding experience, with a strong focus on aerospace quality standards. This role requires a meticulous approach to work, exceptional skill in TIG welding, and a commitment to producing components that meet our rigorous quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Perform TIG welding on various aerospace-grade materials, including aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel, ensuring high-quality welds.
β’ Read and interpret engineering designs to understand welding requirements.
β’ Maintain adherence to aerospace welding standards and specifications, ensuring all components meet the highest quality and safety standards.
β’ Inspect and test welds and components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
β’ Work closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and correct potential issues before they affect product quality.
β’ Continuously improve welding processes and techniques to increase efficiency and quality.
β’ Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
β’ Perform other related welding or assembly duties, as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
β’ Minimum of 8 years of experience in TIG welding, with a significant portion of that experience in welding with aerospace tolerances
β’ Proficient in welding aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel with high precision.
β’ Candidates with AWS D17.1 certifications preferred.
