Job Description
Job Summary:
The TIG Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on various materials, including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, according to engineering drawings and project specifications. Candidates will beweld testedprior to hire to verify skill and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding & Fabrication:
• Perform TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components to meet design and quality standards.
• Set up welding equipment, select appropriate filler rods, and adjust machine settings based on material type and thickness.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Fit and tack parts together prior to final welding, ensuring precise alignment and tolerances.
• Inspect welds for quality and consistency, and perform rework as needed.
Quality & Safety:
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure weld integrity and compliance with specifications.
• Follow all company quality control processes and welding procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Equipment & Maintenance:
• Maintain and care for welding tools and equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
• Minimum of 2–3 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proven ability to weld aluminum, steel, and stainless steel to tight tolerances.
• Must pass a hands-onweld testas part of the hiring process.
Skills & Competencies:
• Proficient in TIG (GTAW) welding techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, crouch, or bend for extended periods.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and small components.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
