Additional Perks • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Paid Lunch (30 minutes) • Referral programVision insurance • Responsibilities & Expectations • Welds metal parts together using GTAW Process. • Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding. • Repairs broken or cracked parts, and fill holes. • Dimensional and visually inspect parts for adherence to customer requirements. • Reads routers, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine dimensional specifications and operating requirements. • Performs required preventative maintenance procedures on assigned welding equipment within specified time frames. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to weld specific metals; Inconel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium. • Ability to weld thickness ranging from .020-.090 • Ability to certify to AWS 17.1• 5 years minimum experience to Aerospace GTAW Process. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Proficient ability to read blueprints supporting Aerospace industries • Work in a fast paced, fluid environment • Detail oriented • Team player • Positive attitude Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to those listed below. • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typing • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds • Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, fingering, grasping, feeling, twisting, bending and repetitive motion • The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
