TIG WelderinCedar Park, TX 78613 Pay: $20-$25 DOE Perks: β€’ Weekly Pay β€’ Direct deposit option β€’ Referral bonus eligible β€’ Health insurance options/plans Schedule: Monday- Thursday 6am-2:30pm Job Duties and Responsibilities: β€’ Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on brass materials to create precise, clean, and durable welds. β€’ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements. β€’ Set up and adjust welding equipment, including selecting appropriate electrodes, filler rods, and settings for brass welding. β€’ Inspect and prepare brass materials for welding, ensuring proper fit and alignment. β€’ Monitor welding processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal weld quality and efficiency. β€’ Ensure that welded joints meet required specifications and perform quality checks on all welds. β€’ Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. β€’ Operate welding machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently, including grinders, cutters, and measuring instruments. β€’ Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve any welding issues, including inconsistencies, cracks, or defects in the weld. β€’ Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. β€’ Maintain accurate records of welding work completed, including material used, time spent, and any issues encountered. Job Requirements and Qualifications: β€’ Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with specific experience welding brass or other non-ferrous metals. β€’ High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program or apprenticeship is preferred. β€’ Strong understanding of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures. β€’ Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. β€’ Ability to work with a variety of welding equipment, including TIG welders and other related tools. β€’ Knowledge of brass welding procedures, including the ability to manage heat control, material preparation, and welding joint design. β€’ Excellent attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues. β€’ Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. β€’ Good physical stamina, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
