Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding processes, particularly TIG welding, and will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal components in accordance with project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. Duties • Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements and specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. • Operate forklifts and cranes as needed to transport materials around the worksite. • Conduct pipe threading and soldering tasks as required for specific projects. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines. Requirements • Proven experience as a Tig Welder or in a similar welding role. • Proficiency in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is preferred. • Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. • Familiarity with operating forklifts, cranes, and various hand tools. • Experience with power tools, pipe threading, and soldering techniques is a plus. • Ability to use calipers for precise measurements during fabrication processes. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
