Tooling Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities
ITT4 (Metallic Component & Tooling Engineer)
• The Internal Tools Supervisor is responsible for the management of the tools data, the maintenance and the capacity of all internal tools and all equipment owned by the Schneider-Electric plant (moulds, stamping tools, assembly tools, manufacturing and test benches, gauges, jigs & fixtures ...).

Main activities
• Tool maintenance management
Manages tool refurbishment & repair operations
Industrializes new tools (replacement, QVE or capacity) including BCI
Supports tool transfers

Carries out tool audits
Manages tools inventory & tools data collection manages tools capacity manages tools maintenance budget & roadmap
• Material productivity
Sustains data collection to enable COS & QVE analysis proposes & industrializes QVE ideas
• User of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
knows & uses CMMS (Corim or Avantis VTM)
Manages tools database in CMMS Key points Collaborates with Parts Industrialization Team He is functionally supported by GSC Europe tools CMMS Master Key User.
