Trade Operations Associate

Geode is seeking an experienced Trade Operations Associate to support tactical initiatives and daily responsibilities of the Operations business unit. 

This is a hybrid work environment opportunity with a weekly in office schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote work availability on Mondays and Fridays.

 Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate or identify continuous improvement opportunities within Trade Operations department
• Work closely with portfolio management, compliance, and trading teams to support day-to-day trading operations
• Adhere to firm’s operational policies and practices, in addition to established processing controls and procedures
• Review daily pricing exceptions, including stale pricing, security and FX rate day over day deviations
• Research vendor coverage for missing price exceptions to ensure all holdings are accurately priced
• Review and resolve pricing and TNA (Total Net Assets) variances between internal IBOR and various Fund Administrators
• Produce timely and accurate metrics and other analytical reporting for Portfolio Management, Trading, and other internal and external stakeholders

 Skills You Bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in operations, including trade settlement and cash management, position reconciliation, security reference data maintenance, pricing, and/or corporate actions
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Results oriented with strong analytical, risk management, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible to work rotating evening schedule
• Strong technical background and the ability to work independently
• Solid working knowledge of Excel, macros, database queries, and database reports
• Experience with Simcorp Dimension, Bloomberg, SQL preferred
