Trade Transport & Logistics General Cargo Regional Sourcing Specialist

Mission Statement:

The TT&L G/C Sourcing Specialist Region is responsible for the transport project budgeting for G/C, ensuring availability of the transport budget in line with the requirements. He/she manages end-to-end sourcing activities for the RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, starting from the analysis of transport requirements, ending on the awarding the business for execution. Additionally, he/she is supporting spot quotations for urgent shipments and negotiating potential invoice disputes with suppliers in case of escalations.

Your responsibilities:

• You will manage RFI process for general cargo and must-win general cargo orders from analysis of transport requirements up to preparation of budget approval form and creation of logistics concept and budget for submission.
• You will be responsible for the project budgeting change process for general cargo (in case of revised logistical requirements) up to the submission of the revised logistics concept and budget.
• You will be handling the general cargo standard rate card implementation and support the sales organization.
• You will manage RFI and RFQ process for general cargo from consolidation and verification of demands and requirements, including the end-to-end RFI and RFQ execution with suppliers, submission of award proposals up to the signature of contract and implementation into SAP Ariba.
• You will support additional margin negotiation for general cargo by preparing, organizing, and leading negotiation meeting with suppliers.
• In case of escalation, responsible to evaluate potential invoice dispute cases and drive negotiation with supplier.

• You hold bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Economics, Business or similar fields.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; self-motivated and disciplined to meet deadlines in the context of competing priorities and projects; lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines and customer demands with a sense of urgency.
