Our client, a leading organization in the financial industry, is seeking a Trading Floor Application Support Specialist to join their team. As a Trading Floor Application Support Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting the front office trading desks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Provide L1/L2 Front Office Trading Support
• Manage Application Resiliency and Reporting
• Oversee Application Monitoring and Incident Management
• Coordinate Change Control and Release Management
• Engage in Capacity Planning and BCP Planning

What's Needed?

• Prior experience in the Financial Industry, specifically supporting a trading desk
• Working knowledge of application monitoring and incident management
• Proficiency in writing/debugging with Perl, Python, Linux/Unix shell, and SQL
• Familiarity with Tibco/FIX Messaging systems and Bloomberg terminal
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
