Job PurposeÂ
The purpose of the Demand Generation Manager is to own the execution of integrated campaigns that attract new prospects and optimize conversion rates to increase revenue.Â
This role will report to the Director of Marketing and will be directly responsible for creating and executing on strategic campaigns for Traject Data’s house of APIs. This includes working with the Director of Marketing to inform program strategy, ownership of campaign execution, reporting and analytics, digital marketing, webinars, and account-based marketing to drive pipeline success.Â
Responsibilities and Duties
- Integrated Demand Generation Campaigns. Support the development of and implement a comprehensive demand generation strategy that is aligned with the company’s revenue, customer expansion, and strategic growth goals
- Â Acquisition Targets. Partner closely with customer success and product marketing to set and achieve revenue targets and manage the acquisition funnel
- Digital Marketing & Advertising. Develop, manage, and optimize best-in-class digital programs across email, web, events, digital advertising, and content syndication channels
- Agency Management. Manage day-to-day communications with our digital marketing agencies (SEM & SEO) and provide direction needed to optimize performance for existing Google and Facebook ads, and test new third-party channels.Â
- Nurture Campaigns. Develop nurture strategies in Hubspot to move prospects through the funnel
- Account-Based Marketing. Partner with product marketing and customer success to develop custom messaging and content targeted at specific accounts
- Reporting & Analytics. Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs to identify most successful campaigns and areas for improvement and report to leadership
- Customer Marketing. Support cross-sell and upsell initiatives via marketing programs
- A/B Testing. Run split-testing campaigns to optimize engagement and conversion metrics
- Budget Management & Resourcing. Work with the Director of Marketing to scope end-to-end demand gen requirements, budget, resource needs, and delivery timeframes
What we’re looking for
- Result-driven with a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding acquisition targets and revenue goals
- Experience developing strategy and executing integrated demand generation campaigns that move prospects through the funnel
- Analytical, specifically around funnel management, goal setting, program measurement and campaign ROI
- Ability to manage multiple projects, hit deadlines and has strong time management skills
- Is a self-starter, strategic and hands-on, process driven and detail-oriented
- Enjoys working in an agile, dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
QualificationsÂ
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in marketing, demand generation or growth marketing in high-tech B2B targeting technical audiencesÂ
- Proven track record of measurable success in developing and growing pipeline through innovative campaigns and programs to scale company growth
- Deep expertise in paid search & paid social, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) & experimentation.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Hubspot, Google Analytics and ad platforms (Google, Meta Business Manager, etc.)Â
- Team player, develops strategy and executes, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- Experience marketing to developer audiences
- Experience in MarTech industry and SaaS background is a strong plus
- Strong familiarity with demand gen tools like 6sense, SEMrush and Unbounce

- Base salary range: $90,000-120,000
