Why this Job is important to us
You will manage a team of people within a wider Investor Services department. You will be responsible for maintaining the share registers for a portfolio of hedge funds and responding to investor related queries, in addition to liaising with the fund's investment manager, auditors and all investors in each fund.
What you will be responsible for
As Transfer Agency Manager, Officer you will:
- Review subscription, redemption and transfer activity including the review of documentation received from fund investors;
- Review of wire transfer payments related to redemptions, subscriptions and expenses;
- Perform regulatory procedures including gathering due diligence documentation from fund investors - to include AML to Cayman, US and European standards, FATCA & CRS;
- Management and oversight of team including training & development;
- Coordinate the distribution of various investor specific documents including (but not limited to) Investor Statements, K-1's, audited Financial Statements, and other fund specific reports and literature;
- Maintain shareholder and partnership registers;
- Liaising with fund investment managers and investors;
- Ensure company controls are implemented and monitored;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Education and Preferred Qualifications
- Applicants should be Caymanians (and/or persons married to Caymanian).
- Bachelors' degree with a minimum of 5 years' relevant Hedge fund administration experience, preferably for a portfolio of Single Manager hedge funds;
- Good working knowledge of US and Cayman AML laws, regulations, and procedures;
- Excellent administrative, organizational, planning, and business support skills with the ability to multitask and to work calmly under pressure;
- Ability to adapt quickly to change;
- Strong management and leadership experience;
- A comprehensive knowledge of systems, specifically ISS (a proprietary State Street system);
- Good knowledge of MS Office and prior experience with trade and share registrar processing systems (e.g. NTAS, Geneva, etc.);
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills;
- High level of professionalism, the motivation to work independently and within a team;
- Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits
- The salary range is 69,000 KYD to 89,000 KYD
- Benefits include minimum statutory health and pension benefits.
