Position Overview: Jabil is seeking a highly skilled and fully bilingual Work Cell Translator to join our dynamic team in Florence, KY. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading, speaking, and writing multiple languages, and will play a crucial role in translating work directions and communications within our manufacturing setting. This position is essential for ensuring clear and accurate communication across diverse language groups, enhancing productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written work instructions, safety guidelines, and operational procedures from English to multiple languages and vice versa.
• Provide real-time verbal translation during meetings, training sessions, and daily operations.
• Assist in the development and translation of training materials and manuals.
• Ensure all translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and address any language barriers.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Support other translation needs as required by the manufacturing team.

Qualifications:

• Fully bilingual with native or near-native fluency in at least two languages-English, and French, Spanish, or Swahili.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in multiple languages.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in using translation software and tools SDL Trados and MemoQ is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
