    Job Details
  • The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients.
  • Utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
  • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
  • Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
    Job Requirements
  • Required: ACLS
  • Required: BLS
  • Required: NRP
  • Preferred: STABLE
    Schedule Information
  • Day Shift 6a - 6:30p
  • Will consider 4 x 12's 48 Guaranteed hours
  • Will consider Block Booking as long as it doesn't have to be the same days every week.
  • Every other weekend required.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Census on the unit varies, may also float to other units as needed to be helping hands, answer lights, take vital signs, etc.
