  • 100-bed facility which has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval.
  • The only hospital located in Wythe County and provides care to a primary service area of approximately 36,000 individuals including Wythe and Bland counties.
  • Employs over 350 full-time personnel and is staffed by over 80 physicians.

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Ventilator experience (trach and ETT), Titrating sedation drips (Versed, Propofol, Fentanyl), Titrating Vasopressors, Experience with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, Experience with DKA Insulin drips, CVP Lines, Art Lines (Rarely), Defibrillation and med management during code blue, Cardioversion.

  • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Respiratory failure, CHF, Afib RVR, DKA, Overdose, Alcohol Withdrawal, Chronic Vent pts (Trach and peg tubes), Bowel resection post op if need critical care.
