  • Shift: 3x12 days, 7p-7a pm - every other weekend rotation
  • Skills: IV Start, Telemetry
  • Charting System Experience: Affinity and Sunrise
  • Weekend/On Call Requirements: Every other weekend may be required
  • First Time Traveler: Yes
  • Scrub Color: Black
    Job Requirements
  • MO State or Compact RN license required
  • ACLS must be AHA. Required for Med Surg-Tele, ICU, Stepdown, ED, Cath Lab, and OR. Not required for Inpatient Rehab and Med Surg.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • NIH Stroke Certification required for ED, ICU, MS/Tele, Tele, and Step Down.
    Schedule Information
  • 13 weeks
  • Blocked scheduling ok - may not be added to contract but can discuss with manager
  • No locals - 60 mile radius rule
    Unit Specific Information
  • Criteria for Admission to Medical Telemetry: Routine nursing care accommodated by an RN/Patient ratio of 5:1
  • Patients who need a Nursing assessment every 8 hours
  • Patients who need Vital signs every 8 hours routinely
  • Cardiac monitoring
  • Hemodynamically stable dysrhythmia
  • Strong suspicion of non-ST segment Elevate Myocardial Infarction (non-STEMI) or unstable coronary syndrome by history, electrocardiogram, or labs for cardiac injury with resolution of chest pain and without hemodynamic instability or life threatening arrhythmias.
