    Job Details
  • PCU/Cardiac nursing position at St Joseph Regional Health Care Center in Bryan, Texas.
  • Newly opening unit focusing on higher acuity PCU patients.
  • Unit will work closely with other Tele units for support.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have PCU/Stepdown experience or Tele experience with cardiac gtt experience.
  • RN must pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia (83%) before signing the contract.
    Schedule Information
  • 7-7 shifts with self-scheduling options.
  • 4-6 weekend shifts in a 6 week period.
  • May be asked to go on standby, though not common.
  • Holiday rotation may be required.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4 for days and nights.
  • Charge nurse oversees Neuro and PCU, will not take patient assignment unless necessary.
    Additional Details
  • Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year.
  • Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination.
