- Job Details
- Title: Cross Train to Oncology Program
- D/N Rot/AO
- Min 1 year of experience in MS, MS/Tele, or oncology preferred - WILL TRAIN
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication system required.
- 1st time travelers accepted.
- EPIC charting exp REQUIRED
- Nurse-to-patient ratios adjusted based on acuity.
- Flexibility to float to different units within same specialty.
- Regular work schedule of 36 to 40 shifts per week during orientation, then 36 shifts afterward.
- Rotating day and night shifts every 4 weeks.
- Mandatory availability for alternating weekend shifts.
- Job Requirements
- BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Required Skills: MS/TELE experience – 1 year min.
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Knowledge of Rapid Response Teams.
- Competency in gastrointestinal care.
- Proficient in feeding tube care, IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, peripheral line care, and IV starts.
- Preferred Experience: Previous oncology experience preferred but not required.
- 1 year of RN experience in MS, MS/Tele required; no oncology experience necessary.
- Schedule Information
- Contract Duration: 26 to 39 weeks with potential for permanent role.
- Regular work schedule of 36 to 40 shifts per week during orientation, then 36 shifts afterward.
- Rotating day and night shifts every 4 weeks.
- Mandatory availability for alternating weekend shifts.
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit-Specific Competency Exam Required
- Additional Details
- Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio.
- Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit.
- Travelers can renew ACLS at the facility.
- Travelers can renew BLS at the facility.
