- ANM with strong Charge Nurse experience
- Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating
- Direct care – charge nurse most commonly
- Reports to Nurse manager
- May have direct reports but unlikely – if assigned will be RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HUCs
- Utilize critical thinking skills and independent decision-making regarding patient care
- Collaborate with patients, families, patient care teams and community/regulatory agencies
- Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC certification, as required by facility or department
- Certification in specialty area required in one (1) year
- Three (3) years of experience in acute care setting
- Schedule Information
- SHIFT: Night, 3 x 12’s but will have the contract read 40 hours for meetings, etc.
