  • Job Summary: IMCU RN position at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois.
  • Department: IMCU | RN
  • # Beds: 22 private beds.
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5 days and nights.
  • Common diagnoses: Cardiac, open heart day 3, cranis, cardiac cath- radial and femoral, watchman, zephyr valve for COPD, pacemakers, trachs, continuous CPAP, Bipap, chest tubes, CBI. No vents.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Preferred travel experience
  • Must have IL license in hand
  • One year of experience required
  • Positive attitude required
  • ICU experience preferred
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 5-5. Manager does schedule. Try to accommodate block schedule.
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other.
  • Holiday Requirements: Every other.
  • Floating Requirements: Float to ICU to take PCU level patients, or to med surg to take a full assignment.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Charge Nurse: Team Lead during the day- does not take patients. Charge on nights/weekends/holidays. Charge takes patients.
  • Unit/Department specific orientation: One 12 hour shift.
    Additional Details
  • Drivers License required for submission to be considered
  • Facility requires clinical prescreen. If recommended, the hiring manager has 24-hours to accept/decline this candidate. They will not call for a 2nd phone interview.
