Job Description: Previous cath lab experience required. ACLS required. Shift is four 9 or 10 hour Monday through Friday shifts a week: 0730-1800, 0630-1700, or 0730-1700. One weekday night shift of call (M-TH) and every 4th weekend. It should be known that although the call on the weekend is called "call" those associates frequently work 6-8 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Unit Description: Provide assessment, monitoring, and intervention for cardiac procedures, such as: coronary stents, Swan Ganz/RHC, balloon valvuloplasty, angioplasty, and pericardiocentesis. Manage paperwork, including patient consent forms, charting, lab results and procedure documentation. Collaborate with other medical staff as needed. Administer oral and intravenous medications. Manage and monitor patients under conscious sedation for adverse events.
