Yes Patient Types: Peds-Geriatrics. About 10% of population is pediatrics. Chest pain, abdominal pain, 20% of patients are traumas (minor MVAs, big things are shipped out), COVID, mental health population (close to the jail so get a lot of jail clearances), respiratory distress, altered mental status, stroke and rule outs, Skills required: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, strong IV skills, drips and medication admin knowledge Patient Ratios: RN - 1:3-4 (days & nights); if it is surge time, could see a slightly higher ratio but unlikely
