    Job Details
  • Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced and qualified ICU RN for an immediate and urgent need.
    Job Requirements
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • COVID Vaccine Required
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hour shifts, 0600 - 1800; 1800 - 0600
  • Weekends would be rare
  • Holidays would be rare
  • No call or standby requirement
  • Float to MedSurg if the ICU is closed
    Unit Specific Information
  • Evening/night shift, 3x12s
    Additional Details
  • # of beds: 3-Beds
  • Ratios: 1 RN to 2-3 patients
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Afib-RVR, DKA, Alcohol withdrawal, Covid pneumonia
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Titrate drips, cardiac monitoring, management of respiratory support systems
  • Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: cardizem and insulin
  • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes
  • Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: No
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No
  • RT in ICU 24/7: No
  • RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Available
  • Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: Yes, RN's read their own strips
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
  • Unit/Department specific orientation: varies by patient population
