Unit Information: ( insert name ) Short Stay/Pre Post Op Location: Methodist Hill Country Address: Floor: Short Stay/Pat/Pre Post Op Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds -12 beds in Out-Pt Unit and 4 Holding Room Bays to Pre Op surgical cases, Same Day Discharge Unit-6 beds · Number of Staff – 7-10 RNs · Type of staff: 8.6 RN o Day Shift – ( example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) all nurses work day shift starting at 0500 or 0600 for 4-1 hr shifts or 5-8 hr shifts o Night Shift - · Patient Ratios – 1:3 · Type of equipment – V/S, stretchers · EMR -Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · Pre Post Op RN- pre op all surgical, cath lab and IR patients, blood transfusions, and phase II recovery · Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · · List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Pre Op Patients · Post Op Phase II · Blood Transfusions · Best personality Fit: · REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · BLS, ACLS, PALS required Floating Area(s): · PACU Dress Code : · Scrub Color/Attire - We provide scrubs or navy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. · Weekends and On call(if any) · On call every 4-7 weekends plus one day during the week and holidays · Only guarantee 32 hrs/week
