Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Location: Greeneville Community Hospital - 1420 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745 Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 48 hrs/week Start Date: 04/06/2025 Job Duration: 13 weeks Number of Positions: 1 Compensation and Benefits: • Weekly Gross: $3,120.00 Per Week • On W2(Taxable): $1,440.00 Per Week ($30/hour) • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,680.00 Per Week Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical unit will work night shifts, providing high-quality care to patients with medical and surgical conditions. The nurse will be expected to float to other units as needed. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple patients with various medical needs. Key Responsibilities: • Provide medical-surgical nursing care to patients across a variety of conditions. • Manage patient care in a high-acuity environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. • Work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients. • Participate in clinical education programs for nursing students, alongside the provision of clinical care. • Float to other units as necessary based on staffing needs. • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation according to hospital protocols. Job Requirements: • Experience: 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical or MS/Tele required • Certifications: BLS & ACLS • Licensing: Active Tennessee or Compact license required • Education: BSN required for international travelers • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required • Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only • Floating: Must be willing to float to other units based on hospital need Other Requirements: • Locals: Not accepted (must live more than 100 miles from the facility)
