  • ARRT

    Job Details
  • General job duties include taking diagnostic X-rays for Radiologist viewing, performing C-arm cases in OR, and conducting portable X-ray exams hospital wide.
  • Equipment utilized includes GE and Siemens X-ray rooms, GE portable X-ray machines, GE OEC C-arms, GE UV PACS, and Meditech EMR.

  • BLS certification required
    Schedule Information
  • All shifts are staffed with at least 2 techs.
  • May perform portable exams alone.
  • No call necessary.
  • Weekend shifts vary if coverage need.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Will work with lead Tech on department orientation on day one.
  • Once completed, travel tech will shadow lead tech on protocols and procedures, computer systems, etc.
  • Once lead feels travel tech is capable, travel tech will be able to shoot X-rays in department and portably working alone when needed.
  • Supervisors and leads available for any questions after initial training.
