  • Typical procedures performed on unit(s): Neurosurgeries (kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy), fracture repairs/IM nailing, general surgery, Bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve), bladder sling, hysterectomy

  • Unit Profiles: The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit.
  • Number of Beds - 32
  • Number of Staff – 50
  • Patient Ratios – 1:5 or 1:6 days, 1:6 or 1:7 nights
  • Type of equipment – PCAs, on-Q pumps, Hoyer lift, traction, wound vacs
