  • 13 weeks
  • The Surgical Technologist works as part of the team that delivers surgical care in the operating room.
  • The technologist possesses knowledge and skills in sterile and aseptic technique.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of numerous surgical procedures so the needs of the surgeon can be anticipated.
    Job Requirements
  • Unlicensed Assistive Person - Technician (UAP/T) | North Dakota Board of Nursing | Prior to Start Date
  • Licensed Practical Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to Start Date
  • Certified Surgical Technician (CST)| National Board of Surgical Tech-Surgical Assist (NBSTSA) | Preferred
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or graduate of a military training program.
  • Orthopedic Experience required.
  • Robotic Orthopedic experience recommended.
    Schedule Information
  • The hours are Monday-Thursday 630 am to 3 pm.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Organizes and prepares case set-up prior to start of case.
  • Cleans, assembles, operates, and properly cares for instruments, supplies, and equipment used in team specialties.
  • Documents procedure changes on procedure cards following each case according to standard operating procedures.
    Additional Details
  • Temporary UAP/T license accepted prior to start.
